Our Vision

At ConectaDIM, we believe that access to electricity and internet is not a privilege — it’s a right. We aim to bridge the digital divide in the Amazon by bringing sustainable, solar-powered energy and high-speed satellite internet to rural indigenous communities that have been historically underserved.

Through technology, we’re creating access to education, healthcare, communication, and economic opportunity — empowering people to thrive without leaving their communities behind.

Our Story

The idea for the Digital Inclusion Module was born out of a simple but urgent observation: far too many rural communities in the Amazon lack access to basic electricity and internet. What began as a school project quickly grew into a cross-continental collaboration aimed at turning this reality around. Today, our team works alongside local partners in Brazil to design, deliver, and maintain solar-powered modules that meet real community needs—starting with our first successful launch in Samauma.

Our Approach: The Digital Inclusion Module (DIM)

We work directly with Indigenous schools to provide a turnkey setup that brings immediate and reliable access to digital learning tools. Each supported school receives:

  • 1 Portable Power Station (Bluetti EB70)

  • 1 120W Monocrystalline Solar Panel

  • High-speed Internet via Starlink

These tools power laptops, projectors, lights, and internet routers—enabling students and teachers to access online platforms, educational content, and remote communication for the very first time.

What It Costs

How You Can Help

Project Funding or Sponsorships

Your financial support directly powers classrooms. A one-time donation of approximately $2,075 USD equips a school with solar energy, internet access, and digital learning capabilities. You can sponsor an entire school or contribute toward a shared goal with others.

Technical or Strategic Expertise

Are you an engineer, IT specialist, or sustainability expert? We welcome volunteers and advisors who can help us improve system efficiency, expand training resources, or scale the project sustainably.

Collaborations with Academic or Indigenous Institutions

We’re actively seeking partnerships with academic institutions, Indigenous advocacy groups, and NGOs. If your organization is aligned with our mission, let’s collaborate on research, outreach, or future deployments.
